Team Kendall racer, V. Gaines

V. Gaines

V. Gaines races in the NHRA Full Pro Stock division. Having completed the 2008 season with a top ten standing, V. Gaines and the Team Kendall Pro Stock team are fully aware that competing with a top rate car and a dedicated, hardworking crew helps contribute to wins, but much of racing's success comes down to luck. Despite some hard turns, the team is optimistic for the future and determined to take away some valuable lessons from the losses they suffered last season. In the last Team Kendall Newsletter of the year, Gaines shares some of the most important points he learned from the past year. Kendall Motor Oil is a huge part of our maintenance program and the results continue to speak for themselves.

Team Kendall racer, Vern Moats

Vern Moats

In 2009, Vern Moats heads into his 36th year of racing Funny Cars. Racing in NHRA's Funny Car Division 5, Moats is one of the most experienced drivers in the NHRA. He has more than 45 years of racing under his belt, along with his 15 division titles. He calls on that experience to give himself an advantage over younger competitors. As a sponsor, Team Kendall helps keep Moats running in tip-top shape and Moats' success helps keep Kendall Motor Oil in the spotlight. It's a strong relationship that helps both parties achieve their goals.
